32″ Lcd Tv Should Pay Tax In Manila International Airport?
i am planning to bring home a 32' LCD tv, i wonder if somebody knows if they will collect tax and the tax amount.

I asked this question from a customs officer at NAIA. He said you will be charged 12% VAT + 15% TAX, based on acquisition cost (receipt).

Yes You have to pay Tax on it,i just taken one to Clark Airport Customs,they ask me for a Receipt. I gave them one i printed myself on my pc in the Name of a Surplus Shop for 150 $ it was so little Tax they did not charge me.Regards Harry http://www.clubcagpo.tk

OMG. Why not buy in Ph they sell also that stuff for sure much cheaper than outside the country.
