Alternative Way To Mount Lcd Tv?
I have a 26 inch lcd tv i want to mount on a wall, the problem is i live in rented accomodation so can not bolt it into the wall. Is it possible to make some sort of stand out of wood which i can then mount the tv on? Any ideas ant tips on types of materials to use, designs and potential cost would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have to assume, by now, there are stands, specific to the purpose. Perhaps even stands that allow various elevations.
Without knowing WHERE you want the TV, IE: bedroom, living room, etc. I’d probably just buy or use the table top stand and get a piece of furniture to accomodate decent viewing height, possibly even serving a dual purpose.
I seriously doubt that aesthetics would be horribly compromised, since the TV can’t be installed, appearing to FLOAT anyway, and you’d still have cords to hide.

i got mine hanging from 2 wall togs over my fireplace thats it in the back of the tv you have two holes where you can put 2 wall togs in the wall and hang the tv right up on the holes.two wall togs aren’t going to hurt your walls any just spackle them when you leave if the landlord is that worried that is regular were and tear on your apartment 2 screws he cam’t charge you for that.also i have only a 20 inch tv but the wall togs hold very well.
