Are There Any Lcd Tv’s That Have Built In Multi Regional Dvd Players?
I have a large and extensive DVD collection from all corners of the world. I currently have a multi regional DVD player in my bedroom. I'd really like to purchase a flat screen LCD TV with a built in DVD player but it must be multi regional so it call play all my DVDs. It ideally needs to be about 17-21 inches wide. Money is no object. Please can anyone help?

I agree with Neil N, better to have separates then if one component fails you don’t lose everything for weeks.

I know I’m not answering your question but I feel compelled to tell you: My policy is to NEVER buy any A/V equipment with 2 components in 1 (i.e. TV with built-in DVD player, DVD player w/ Home Theater system). You’re usually sacrificing quality in both and if it breaks or you wanna upgrade you’re stuck with a double waste. Unless you’re desperate to save space I would tell you to get a quality 20″ LCD screen and a quality multi-region DVD player. You’ll also have an easier time finding those 2 separately than the 2-in-1 you’re looking for. Sorry again for not answering your question but I hope I helped anyway.

They may be hard to find. The problem with built-in DVD players (into a TV) is when 1 gets defective you’ll have to send the whole unit to a repair shop.
Just get a stand alone multi-region dvd player instead.
