I was told that you weren't supposed to lay an LCD TV flat when moving it? Is this true?

Aren’t they flat in the box? The best way to move a tv is to put it back in the original box. You may not have the box but if it was flat (horizontal like) in the box, it probably won’t hurt it.

That is completely false. Otherwise, how could it get repaired if needed?
