Yah only if it has a VGA input. or if u have a HDMI cable ad the tv has a HDMI input then u wud get the best results or ur vga cable and the vga port should get it running fine.
The vga port looks like the port on ur cpu where ur monitor plugs in
and the vga cable is the cable connecting ur monitor and ur cpu

It depends on your computer. I recommend it if you have HDMI out on your computer as that gives you the best picture quality and allows you to transfer audio at the same time. VGA out works too but it takes a little finagling to get the correct wide screen resolutions. Also, if you DO have HDMI out.. DON'T buy the HDMI cable at the store. HDMI cables are really cheap on Amazon (I bought 3 for 10 dollars total).
Okay, so back to the LCD. Ever since they started putting S-Video cables on graphics cards I've been hooking my computer up to tvs. They are GREAT media players and play better games. But its still a computer on a tv... If you are looking for something that would LOOK more like a desktop monitor, go with 1080p. They aren't that much more anymore and you will be amazed at the difference. I recently switched to 1080 from a 720 and it just makes it seem more like a PC and less like a pc attached to a lcd tv.
If you are going to do this I recommend a graphics card from either ATI 4xxx or higher or Nvidia GTX 2XX or higher. These offer the best HDMI options and blu ray support if you ever want to put one of those in.
