Can Someone Explain To Me The Exact Differences Between A Dynex Lcd Tv And Another “better” Brand Of Tv?
Everyone keep's saying that Dynex is a crappy TV. Well I want to know why. What makes them so crappy - in terms of their manufacturing process, parts, etc. Can anyone compare specs from a Dynex tv and another LCD tv for me!?

When electronic parts are manufactured, they have specifications that they must fall within to be considered acceptable for high-end electronics manufacturers. This is especially true for microprocessors and other high-density integrated circuits.
When these parts are manufactured, they go through a testing process that rates them as to how much they are within acceptable tolerances. These are then graded and separated out by tolerance. The parts that meet the tightest tolerances are the most expensive and the high-end manufacturers buy these parts. The lower-grade parts are cheaper and are picked up by off-brand manufacturers.
The electronic equipment produced by the off-brand manufacturers do work. But, they might not have any where near the performance or quality of the high-end brands. Also, many high-end manufacturers invent or license out proprietary electronic circuits that are used in the high-end products. The low-end products would not have these circuits in them, and the performance may suffer from that.
The best way to tell if a TV is good enough for you for the price is to go to a store that has a lot of them on display all showing the same programming and compare them. Is there actually a difference in the performance, the features, or the styling that would warrant spending the money on a high-end brand versus a low-end brand? If not (or if the difference is minute, in you opinion), will you be happy with the purchase of the low-end brand at a much cheaper price than the high-end model?
Also, look for customer reviews on the various sales sites (like Amazon, shopzilla, etc.). What do other people have to say about that particular brand? Does it seem like something you should avoid, regardless of the price?
Do your homework. The purchase of an LCD TV can be a pretty major expense. And, you’ll want to know that you’ll be satisfied with your purchase before taking this step.

Think of it this way. Sony, samsung, sharp, panasonic have all been around for a while and are all reputable brands that you have heard of right? Does anyone know anything about Dynex? Not really, they just came out within the last year or so. Do you really think they would be as good as the brands I mentioned that have been making tvs for years. No. Of course not. Would you rather have a BMW or a Kia? When Kia first came out they were cheap and people bought them and found out they were crap. You get what you pay for. If you just want a cheap LCD then get the Dynex but dont get upset when you see someone elses Sony and the picture looks a lot better.
