Can You Connect Component Cable From Lcd Tv To Amp?
I have a Sony lcd, yamaha amp and sony blu ray playerbdp 300s. The tv is connected to the blu ray player by hdmi, but what do I connect to my amp to get the sound as it has no hdmi port, I have a component cable will that work from the TV to amp.

You have to connect optical digital cable output from Blu-ray player to amp input for surround sound.
