You can try Toshiba or Samsung. Select one design that suit for home. I'm bought Toshiba 42" from Audio House recently. 37" Toshiba should cost about $1,399. Audio House is having GSS and you can join their 1D Sales and give 50% refund via Audio House vouchers.

Look into the Sony Bravia series. Go on sonystyle.com. I have a 40" Bravia that has been excellent. Stay away from Westinghouse. They will mention features that you will then discover are not really there, and then they will refuse to give you a new set. I got a 42" Westinghouse that had a factory bug...it will not accept a 1080p signal through the HDMI port even though the website and EVEN the owner's manual says that it will. It caused a ton of headaches and several trips to Best Buy. The Sony Bravia series may not offer the cheapest models out there, but I guarantee you that you will not regret it. Wait a month or two and save up for it. Trust me, it will be worth it. The picture is absolutely stunning and when you're not watching TV, the absolute beauty of the screen will be a work of art in and of itself. Check out this link:http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stor…
This one will be out in August and is even more advanced that the one I have.
The Sony brand is worth the extra money. I have a Sony DVD player that I've had for about ten years and it works like the first day that I got it.
