Do Blu Ray Discs Look Good On A Regualr Tv, Or Do You Need A Hd Tv Like A Lcd Or Plasma Screen?
so basically my question is...if i buy a blu ray player, should i hook it up to a regualr tv or a lcd tv. would it improve the appearence at all if it was on a regualr tv?

You should hook it up to an HDTV. You really won’t get much of an improved picture on a Standard definition Television.

yes you do need an LCD or a Plasma with your blu-ray player because they help define the picture quality 3 times better than a regular televison. I have a 1080p LCD and the difference is extremely amazing with my blu-ray player.
