Does A 37” Lcd Tv Really Need To Be Wall Mounted?
I want to buy my first 37” LCD TV. However, there is one thing that makes me confused. Can you use a traditional table stand for this type of television (37” or bigger)? Or is it compulsory to hang it on the wall?

No such thing as mandatory wall hanging for a home TV. Wall mounting is optional. The TV will come with a stand. The larger the TV the wider the stand, that’s all your got to know.

No I bought an entertainment center type of shelf for mine and it will easily fit a 37″ LCD TV
mine looks similar to this one from walmarthttp://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d…
except that I have two shelves and “towers” on either side
but the options are endless
they even have stands that Lift the TV up so it appears to by wall mounted with being on the wall

No compulsory fixing methods, pal: once you’ve bought it you can hang it from a peice of string blu-tacked to the ceiling, if you want!
I’d reccomend using the stand that comes with it though

No, any LCD television you buy will come with a pedestal for using a stand.
