Does anyone know the code for a Dish network remote to be compatible with a Memorex/dvd lcd tv? i've tried all the one in the book and did the scan but still no luck

You can call tech support and they can walk you through the process and it’s free 1-800-333-3474
or if you made boy or girl scouts when you were a kid – you may have the user manual for you dish network box and you can find the answer in there.
or on certain models of receivers if you go to ch 100 you may be able to pull up the tech help section and it will lead you though it on there.
generally the process is going to be hold the tv mode button until the other mode buttons flash, then release.
enter the code, then press pound – if it was the correct code you will be able to to control tv functions like volumn and mute….
if it works those put the remote back on sat mode.
Hint – when you find the code, write it on a piece of paper and tape it to the back of the tv (the same code works on all remotes). That way if you move the tv to another receiver or your remote looses the programming it’s handy, and you won’t loose it. Plus taping it won’t hurt anything on your tv and it’s out of the way. it’s what I did on my new tv

If it is a regular tv then the codes are
Memorex Televisions 720, 521, 503, 590, 627, 653, 654, 659, 675
If it is a tv with a built in DVD player it is going to have different codes but I couldn’t find any.
*Note:I am assuming by scan you meant the power scan. Make sure before you do the power scan you program your remote to the code 500 or it wont work.
