How Can I Watch Movies I Download From Netflix On My Lcd Tv?
I only have a desktop computer that is across the room from my TV. I don't want to watch the movies on my computer's LCD monitor because it only has an 800:1 contrast ratio and movies don't look good.
I have a Samsung 32" LCD TV - LNS3241D.

Well for starters you need to know if your LCD TV has a VGA port on it (it should). Then you can easily get a VGA cable (or DVI if your LCD supports it (DVI is always better than VGA)). Then its as simple as plugging the VGA cable into your computer and LCD TV.
It will probably help you the most if you bring your whole computer into your living room and get a wireless keyboard and mouse.
In fact i’m not sure you can get a VGA cable long enough to stretch room to room, if money is an issue then you can just use your current wired mouse and keyboard.

You can hook your TV up as a second monitor, or as the only monitor. I keep my CPU in the TV stand cabinet, and my 32″ HDTV is the monitor.
Here’s a good explanation of how to do it: http://lifehacker.com/software/video/how…
