How Do I Connect A Lcd Tv To My Pc And Get Picture And Sound?
I know I can connect my PC and LCD TV using a D-Sub, but how di I get sound connected to?
I'm trying to reduce clutter on my desk and don't want the two little side-speakers I have.
Ideally I would like to use the LCD TV for both picture and sound (it has speakers built-in).
How do I get sound?

You need an audio cable.
If your HDTV has a stereo-mini input jack, then you need a stereo-mini cable with two male ends. One end into the TV stereo mini input jack, the other end into the audio-out jack on your sound card. The cable looks like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
If your HDTV takes the two RCA jacks (one red, one white) for audio, then you need a stereo-mini-to-dual-RCA cable. The stereo mini end goes into your sound card audio out jack, the dual RCA ends into your TV. The cable looks like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
By the way, 15-pin D-Sub isn’t the best way to transmit video from your computer to the LCD HDTV. If your graphics card has a DVI port, you should use a DVI-to-HDMI cable. DVI/HDMI is a digital signal and gives better image quality than 15-pin D-sub, which is analog.

The Radeon 9200 series doesn’t have a video in port. The two connectors are a S-Video output and a D-Sub, (VGA), connector for your monitor…http://www.papatek.com/Panel-17-Inch/
