How Do I Connect My Lcd Tv To My Laptop And Or Computer?
I want to buy an LCD TV, I currently have a laptop, and I am also thinking about purchasing a computer base unit.
Whats the method to follow on this? & Can I
Watch TV whilst surfing the internet
Watch TV and writing a word document or chatting on the internet using my LCD tv as a monitor?

Most LCD TVs have VGA or DVI ports. Your notebook usually comes with a VGA port. They make adapters to go between the two if necessary.
Also, for a desktop, you can easily buy a video card that supports composite output.

You would need a suitable graphics card that would let you hook up the TV as your monitior, OR you can get a TV tuner for the base computer and watch TV directly (yes, that’s right) on your base unit!
You can only be able to do surfing/chatting/writing with a TV tuner. Otherwise, it’s just a normal monitor.
Hope that helps.
