You can only use HDMI is both the TV and the DVD player have ports for them. There are no coverters for S-video to HDMI. If the DVD player does have the port then you can get the cable at any major retailer websites, such as walmart.com or bestbuy.com. HDMI cables carry both audio and video so you only need one cable for the connection.

It really depends on what all you have, and trying to do? Does the DVD player have a HDMI port?

For cables, try:
http://www.MonoPrice.com;
http://www.MyCableMart.com; and
http://www.Firefold.com.
A connection with HDMI or component video is an upgrade to your S-Video, but you don’t say what connectors you have on your DVD or TV.
