		<description>Again, your TV has an optical out, not in. You are trying to get surround sound from your TV to the audio system, not the other way around.
If the receiver broadcasting to the speakers doesn&#039;t have an optical in, and that is in fact the only digital out your TV has, you&#039;re not going to be able to get it to work. If the receiver does have optical in, all you need is an optical cable.
ACTUALLY, if the receiver has any form of digital input (it might not if it&#039;s a cheap home theater in a box) you can buy a receiver with an optical in and a digital out to match the receiver you already have and stick that in the middle. But that would be a pain in the ***.
