I Just Bought An Hd Lcd Tv, And I Have Regular Dish Network, What Do I Need To Get A Good Resolution On My Tv?

You can’t get HD quality programs from Dish Network unless you sign up for HD programming and upgrade your receiver to HD. If local channels in HD are available in your area, this is the cheapest way you can experience HDTV. An upgrade with Dish Network will require you to pay for the receiver (bundles both the receiver and the 5 LNB dish), sign a new contract, and add $20 for HD programming access on top of your monthly bill.

you need to order the HD channels, they will look amazing.
I’m pretty sure that when you order the HD Channels they will send someone out to change your box from a regular on to an HD one
