I’m About To Wall Mount Lcd Tv In My Bedroom. Only Concern I Have Is If The Wall Is Strong Enough To Hold Up
i currently have 23" lcd tv. i stay in an apartment so the walls are abit thin. i also need to place an power point behind the lcd.

Get a professional to do it please. dont take the risk of doing it by yourself as the wall can collapse on you and would ruin the tv too.

make sure the screws are anchored on the wall studs. you have to use a stud finder to locate them.

23 inch LCD is so light you should have no problem securing it to any surface available. There are great wall anchors available these days which will hold it just fine even if you are not near a stud. Your mounting bracket may already come with some and simple instructions on how to use them. Easy and safe. Check out the local lowes/homedepot type store in your area. They should have hollow molding in the electrical department for concealing your power cord and interconnect cables. You could easily do this job in one afternoon. Be sure and use a level.

I have mounted many LCD’s in this size range with Hilti anchors available in Home Depot.

Get a studfinder at a tool store. If you hold that TV up with drywall, you will end up with a broken TV on your floor.
