Name Of Audio Cable That Hooks Up To My Lcd Tv?
My friend just hooked up my computer to my LCD tv.
I think it's great other than not having the audio to go through my bose receiver. I guess next to where I hook the PC to my tv, there is a small hole to put a single "headphone" style jack that splits into the red and white audio cables . What are these cables called? Thanks!
by the way, I have the t.v. hooked up via a RGB-PC cable.

It is called a 3.5 mm audio (or simply PC-audio) jack.
So you need either a 3.5 mm to RCA cable or a 3,5 mm to 3.5 mm audio cable.

From your computer you’ll likely need the Stereo Mini end (from your audio output port, usually colored green; or from your headphone jack). For the TV end are you saying that your TV has a input which is just a headphone jack style input (stereo mini)? If so, then all you need is a Stereo Mini cable (auxiliary cable – like hooking up an iPod to a car).
Here’s one example to give you an idea, http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8V203-12-1…
If you need the 1/8″ to red/white cables, that’s just stereo mini to RCA for your searches. Here’s an example of that,http://www.amazon.com/Dayton-3-5RCA-12-3…
There are loads of different brands, lengths, whatever, so feel free to search for others. But at least with those you have some pictures to check out.
