Not sure! Maybe something to do with the radio in their cars or a sat nav device! Have you tried calling Phillips, might be a faulty TV?

It must be an aerial problem surely.
Have you scanned it in to the strongest signal for each channel?
Does it happen on all stations?
If it happens on all stations I would still suspect aerial probs.

If you have signal interferrence, it might be worth considering cable link for your TV, that is if it is available in your area.

If you are using an aerial amplifier on your aerial these as well as boosting the signal can also pick up localised interference because the amplifier picks up a wide range of frequencies and cars with bad ignition systems can at close range produce interference over a wide range of frequencies, also I have found that digital TV is prone to interference anyway.

This is an old problem reappeared.Way back,it was discovered that certain vehicles caused "snow" on the old black and white TV's.
A regulation was passed for suppressors to be fitted and eliminate this.
It's called "pixilating"now and apparently caused by the digital TV service only putting out a signal at less than half strength,so traffic is interfering with digital sets once more.
It seems it's a choice of upgrading the TV aerial or purchasing a booster.
Hope this helps!
