Should I Buy A Flush Or Tilting Wall Mount For My Lcd Tv?
I'm really want to mount my 42" LCD TV on the wall across from the couch but I can't decided what kind of mount I need to buy. I can't find any information on the web. Is there a height that my TV should be to use a tilt mount?

It depends where you would plan to mount the TV.
If you plan to mount it at the height of your eyes, then a flush mount is fine. I mounted mine up a little higher on the wall and so I wanted to aim the TV down a little, so I am using a tilt mount on our main TV. My tilt mount has several mounting angles to select from so make sure you consider this. I think mine is set at 15 degrees and works out perfectly!

A tilt mount is normally best. Peerless would be my number one pick with maybe Sanus number 2. Go to peerlessmounts.com and you can find the right one by entering your model number. The mount you need is st640 or st660 based on where your mounting holes are.
Tilt mount for a couple reasons. First off, flat mounts hold the tv a little closer to the wall but makes it difficult to hook up your wires. Second, mounting tv at eye level normally doesn’t look astheticaly pleasing. We normally mount the tv so the bottom of tv is about 42-50″ off the floor. My tv on my stand is only about 22″ off floor, but mounting tv to wall that low looks weird.

It depends on the room size, distance to the couch, wiring needs, and so on.
I’d go with tilt mount. You can do an engine search online for home theater systems, and you’ll find hundreds of TV mounts.
