Why Is My Samsung Lcd Tv Screen Black When Connected To My Toshiba Laptop Using A Vga Cable?
i tried trouble shooting already. changing resolutions and doing what the computer tells me to do but absolutely nothing is going on screen. it works with the s cable but the picture is lousy. i thought using the vga cable would give a better picture just like it does on the laptops lcd. the laptop is 2 years old but the tv is brand new. could there be compatibility issues? please help!

I have a Samsung Flat Panel LCD TV and recently, while using the tv, the entire screen just went black. The audio continued to function but even when I change source or channel or anything I can't get the screen to show any kind of picture. I've had the tv for prob. just over a year.

We have a 32 " flat screen LCD made by Westinghouse. The TV is about 2 years old. The line only appears when the TV is turned on. This happened about a year ago as well, but then it disappeared in about a week so I never bothered taking it in. Well now its appeared again. What causes the line?
