If I Hook Up My Lcd Tv To My Computer, Will I Be Able To Switch Back And Forth Easily Without Major Wiring ?

I would like to be able to use my LCD tv as a computer screen and as a tv set. Can I do this combination and be able to use both without having to do major wiring whenever I feel like changing. I realize I cannot use it at the same time, what I want to know is would I be able to switch back and forth without having to do the major connection and disconnection? Is there a single button click I can use for this change?

Exactly How Do You Have Your Computer Connected To Your Lcd Tv?

READ CAREFULLY here. I have a Sharp Aquos 37" LCD TV. There were many models of the 37" Aquos. Mine didn't come with a VGA adapter. It came with an HDMI, Component, Composite & S-Video adapter. At 37" the native resolution is not common and video cards struggle with it. I've connected 3 computers to this TV in every possible way, using every possible cable & resolution. I either get no picture, blurry picture, pixelated picture or ghosted picture. When used as a TV, it is awesome! When used as a monitor, it is very poor. I WANT EVERYONE'S EXPERIENCED OPINION on what they prefer as an LCD TV (not plasma) and I want all the specs too please. I want to know what cable you are using and how it connects. Is it composite, component, DVI/HDMI VGA S-video and coax. I want to know what video card & resolution YOU are pushing. What the native (preferred/default) resolution is on the LCD TV. What size is the TV, the model # etc. Please don't try to solve my issue, just tell me what you run!

Hooking A Desktop Computer Up To An Lcd Tv?

I have an LCD tv and I am hoping to get a new desktop computer. My tv has an HDMI input and obviously the computer will too. Now can I hook a desktop up to the tv through HDMI without using the computers screen also? If this is possible I would also need to know what I would need to buy.

Question About Using An Lcd Tv As A Computer Monitor?

I just got a LCD tv for christmas and I found out it can also be used as a computer monitor. I hooked it up and it worked fine but when I tried to play Call of duty: world at war on it the whole image shifted to the right. So the right side of the screen was missing and the left side had a large black area in it.
Anyone know how I can fix this?

What Is The Best 26″ (inch) Lcd To Use As A Tv And A Computer Monitor?

What is the best 26" (inch) LCD to use as a TV and a Computer Monitor?
I've tried a small 720p LCD TV as a monitor, but the resolution is not too great (especially when it comes to FONTS!).
I've looked at several, and it seems like an HP Monitor (with a Glossy instead of Matte screen) may look best.. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Can Burning Candles Damage An Lcd Tv Or Computer?

I have heard that burning a candle in a room with a computer will cause the motherboard to die. I also wonder if it is safe to burn a candle on a mantle below a flat-panel LCD TV. The holidays are coming and I would love to burn some candles for ambiance but I would hate to lose my expensive electronics in the process.
