Problems Connecting My Xp Laptop To New Samsumg 42 Inch Lcd Tv?
i connect vga cable when tv and laptop is switched off. then i switch on. i get the windows start up picture on the tv, but after 30 seconds it disappears and i either get a blank screen or jagged edges on the tv.
this happens on all screen-resolutions. i am at a loss now! do i need to load drivers for the samsung lcd tv ?

I'm having trouble connecting my desktop to my LCD tv as a monitor. Every time I turn on the computer while its connected to the tv it will show the windows booting screen and then the tv will say unusable signal. Im using a VGA cable to connect the two. but when i connect my laptop and press function f4, it works fine, it shows the whole desktop. Is it the settings on my desktop?
