Is Clear Flux Solder Ok To Use To Solder Onto A Lcd Tv Circuit Board?
I want to make sure that this 60/40 clear flux solder from radioshack (.063") won't damage my tv. I need to replace a capacitor on my 37" lcd magnavox. Would rosin core be better?
How Do I Set Up For Mounting A 95lb Lcd Tv Onto A Fireplace?
i'm buying a sony bravia 46-inch lcd tv and will be mounting it above my fireplace. the fireplace will be covered in beadboard.
my question is, what do i need to tell my contractor to do to set up for this installation? does he need to mount a series of 2x4's so that there is a sufficient base so that it is securely mounted?

I'm just about to put up a 42inch LCD Tv (28kg) onto a plasterboard wall, there aren't any convenient wood studs to put it onto, can I use Heavy duty hollow wall anchors to put the tv and bracket onto up on the wall? can the plasterboard take the weight?
