Does it matter whether or not you get plazma or LCD Tv's, because isn't there a certain point where you can't really tell the different because the eye isn't good enough. also, are there any benefits to having one over the other? thanks.

I want to buy my first 37” LCD TV. However, there is one thing that makes me confused. Can you use a traditional table stand for this type of television (37” or bigger)? Or is it compulsory to hang it on the wall?

Bought a new 52" LCD Samsung TV and was told by the Store that it's highly recommend to buy a protection plans that cover most very thing except intentional damage. The plan cost over $300. Do I really need it?
