You can try an LG television, those are really good televisions. They have good audio and good picture.

The most reliable and best pic that i’ve seen is Panasonic. But they only make 32″ to 42″ LCD’s. Not sure what size you’re looking for.
Otherwise…my second recommendation would be LG. Followed by Samsung, Sony, Sharp then Toshiba! In that order by reliability and picture quality.

TV sold worldwide .technical support worldwide by own overseas office.Quality is very important to them. not prices ! so there only select Quality PARTS ! Worth to paid more !
Try not to go for Local / in-house / buyer Brand TV.
There never made anythings by OWN.
TV manufactures in China .some form Thailand / Taiwan . use Low prices Parts and Low prices LCD Display Panel .become unreliable. because is made by other .Quality is beyond control ! is CHEAP ! but not Quality and subject to reliable . * warranty do not cover transport.keeps send TV for repair is FREE,but cause shipping charge also may with out TV from 1 to 4 weeks .beware of this *

Mid End and Standards ( 19-37 inc ) LCD TV
Samsung / LG / Toshiba / Sony / Panasonic / Sharp. may not get any significant difference to you EYE in pictures quality.all are reliable.
** ” NAME ” Sony and Samsung is TOP. but those small size 19-37 inc no significant difference compare to Sharp/LG/Panasonic/Toshiba **
