What Are These Purple Spots On My Lcd Tv?
I have a Hitachi Rear Projection LCD tv, its a couple years old. I have replaced the bulb on it a couple months ago, but now there seems to be purple spots towards the top of the left hand side of the screen. They seem to be really visible sometimes, but then you could watch it an hour later and it will barely be there. Any thoughts on what this could be and how I could fix it? Thanks!

Purple color means read and blue is mixed. It also means GREEN is out of alignment.
There is an adjustment called convergence. This adjustment ensures all 3 rays, Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) meets at the same spot to produce color. Yours appears to be misaligned.

Any magnets nearby? they make it purple!
