It depends on what connections that you have on your stuff.
Check the specs for each. Then search newegg.com for the cable and/or adapters.
The notebook may have a VGA connector for example. The TV may have one, too. The look for a VGA cable. Or, the TV may have VGA, but the notebook has DVI. Then look for a DVI to VGA cable or a DVI to VGA adapter and a VGA cable.
Check the specs for your TV in the manual and look for “inputs.” Check the specs for the laptop in the manual and look for “outputs.”
Copy these down and go to Best Buy, Radio Shack, or a local computer store and tell them that you want to connect the two. If the TV is not too big, take it and your laptop to the local computer store.
If they both have a yellow (video) RCA plug, then that would work well.
