  1. The red and blue guns are pushed harder and lose output the quickest. There are internal adjustments to re-balance the color outputs. Unless you’re brave and technically inclined, have a serviceman adjust them for you.

  2. This symptom is a common failure of older projection TV’s. There are 3 projector tubes inside, red, green, and blue. If the red and blue tubes get weak, the picture will look green. This could also be caused by loss of coolant in the tubes. If your TV is one of the older ones then it will probably not be worth repair. If one of the newer DLP models it could have projection bulb/color wheel problems which would best be repaired by an experienced technician.

  3. It depends on how old your TV is. If it is older than about 7 yrs rear projection TV’s tend to lose there exact color. Sometimes something yellow will turn red or something blue will turn green. To fix this you can pay a professional to Calibrate it or call the manufacturer.
