You won’t go wrong with a Sony Bravia.Ive had mine now for over 3 years and it’s still as good as the day i had it delivered.The picture quality and sound is fantastic.I got mine from the place in the link Ive added.The prices and the customer service is fantastic

Size and budget matter. Its hard to give you an outright option without more detailed specifics. I second the other comment about hitting up the CNET reviews though, they are a respectable option.
In the 26″ to 37″ range I think the Panasonic LCDs are the best bang for buck option though. Samsung and Sony models are also very strong choices in that range. But I think the Panasonics can deliver better quality at comparable, if not superior, prices. Specifically, TC-26LX85, TC-32LZ800, and TC-37LZ85.
At 40″ and above I think you’re more into a constant fight between Sony and Samsung for quality of the set. But I think the better Sony’s quickly outprice themselves over the Samsungs. So while the Sony’s will deliver you the quality, they won’t deliver the bang-for-buck unless you’re snagging one heck of a good sale. So I would look at ones like the Samsung LN40A650, Samsung LN46A650, and the Samsung LN52A650. Basically the 6 series from Samsung I think is your best bang for dollar. If you really need the extra multimedia options from the series 7 then upgrade, but if you don’t need those features you can get equal picture quality with a series 6.

Such a broad question. So hear is a broad answer: Anything by Samsung should serve you well. Sharp and SONY are great choices as well, which isn’t to say that other brands aren’t good. These 3 are just on top of the game.

Go over to cnet.com,click reviews click TV,then click LCD and read reviews,They give a lot of info on what they review and Pros and Cons of tested TVs.Good Luck and happy hunting.

Bestbuy sells the Insignia brand tvs. They are great quality for not alot of money.
