What Kind Of Cables Do I Need For My Lcd Tv?

I bought a 32" Sharp Aquos LCD TV. Before I disconnected my old tv, I put labels on all the wires so I would know where they would go. But my new tv has a lot more connections in the back. I was able to get the cable connected and connected my VCR but I feel I did something wrong with the VCR connection.
VCR is currently connected to my cable box (this is how it was wired with the old tv). Shouldn't it be connected directly to the TV? When I play VHS tapes it skips and shakes. A friend suggested the red, white, yellow A/V cable which I tried and that helped. But now I'm confused which wires to remove from the back of the VCR because my cable box is connected to it. I think I was using a coaxial cable before? Sorry if I'm not wording this correctly. Any bit of help would help.

  1. You should first disconnect all the cables for the VCR except the power and use RCA cables to connect the VCR direcly to the TV, and make shure you don’t connect the RCA cables to a component input cause that wouldn’t be pretty. RCA means the Red, White, and Yello cable. and component means the red, blue, green, red, and white.
