When Do New Model Lcd Tv’s Make Their Way To Store Shelves?
I want to buy a LCD tv but figure the best time to buy one would be to wait for the new models to come out and then buy an "outdated" model for cheaper. I thought I heard September but not sure is this true and also would there be any note worthy deals on tv's on black friday?

The TV’s on black friday will be priced to sell, but are not going to include the high end models. New models come out every month with January being the most popular month (More TV’s sold in January than other months excluding black friday because of the super bowl and holiday cash). The old models get priced to sell about a month before the new models come out. Your best bet is to buy a Samsung/Panasonic/Sony when you see that it’s been discounted 30 or 40 percent off.

If you’ve waited this long, then wait till black Friday. But don’t expect to see a first tier TV on the black Friday list; they generally go with the low tier models for price reasons. Probably be an Integra or Visio or something like that.
