Where Can I Find A Box Big Enough To Ship A 32″ Lcd Tv?
Bought a new plasma, so I'm shipping this LCD to my brother. I've never shipped anything this big before, so how should I do it? Where can I find a box that it will fit in? Any advice on packing the TV so it won't break? If it does break, will shipping insurance cover it?
Here are some rough dimensions: 42x26x12, 40 pounds
Thanks!

You posted this in the wrong section. But you should go to places like Sears or Walmart and ask if they’ve got a big enough box that you can use. I used to work for Sears and we’d occassionally fill requests like that. Then you’ll also have to pay an arm and a leg to ship a package that size. Goodluck.

Try the UPS store or some other mailing store, or an office store like staples.

<>If you go to a shipping company, like a UPS store, they will set you up, packaging, insurance and everything else you need.

I would take it to the UPS store and let them pack it. That way the liability is on them. Then pay extra for insurance and you’re covered. Just make sure you have the receipt.
Or you can go to any store that sells the same size TV and ask them for empty boxes. My dad gives them away all the time. If you pack it and it breaks you’ll have a hard time convincing the insurance co that you packed it correctly and weren’t negligent before you shipped it.
