Which Of The Two Are Better Lcd Tv Manufacturers– Sony Or Samsung?
I am looking to buy a Full HD LCD TV and I have checked out the 32 inch LCD in Sony KLV32W400 and Samsung 550 series.
Which of the two brands is good.
Also, I was told by the salesperson that there is not much difference in HD (780 resolution) and the Full HD (1080), when it comes to buying a TV below 37 inches.
It only matters in TVs 40 inches and above.

Personally i would go for the samsung one. I have both the sony and the samsung one and i like the samsung one just that little bit more.

Samsung doesn’t make Sony screens, check your sources. They both use the same factory in Korea for their screens, there’s a difference.
This year’s sony’s have much better black levels than the Samsungs. Go into the store and have them set the Sony next to the Samsung and notice how washed out the Samsung’s black areas are compared to the sony.

I’d look for the Sony XBR series, the best TV made. I have 1 and cant wait to go back and get the bigger one for the TV room.
