Why Do I Get Green And Red Areas On My Lcd Tv?
Well I have a 26" Acoustic Solutions LCD TV with a Goodmans Freeview reciever and my XBOX360 plugged into it. I get green and red sections on the screen when watching the Freeview and when playing my 360 (though with the 360 its just the green).
Any ideas?

Take the advice already given, i.e, carefully check all connections and make sure there are no speakers close to the tv. But also, little known fact, surprised tv tech didn’t mention it, Tv’s are affected by earths magnetic field, and you could have it facing the wrong direction in your room!
Try turning it to the side and see if the patches move or dissappear. If so it’s worth taking it back to the shop because there’s probably something wrong with the degaussing circuit.
Oops, that’s just reminded me of another possible quick cure! If it is a degaussing problem, once you are sure there is no outside magnetic influence, try turning it off and unplugging it for it 10 minutes! The degaussing circuit may not be designed to kick in when started from standby.

You are obviously self-medicating.

only reason why that should happen is if u have a stereo system right next to the TV. If ur smart, you will move it away, at least 5 feet of distance. The magnets in the speakers are what mess up the colors of your TV. And in case u dont have a stereo near the TV, then u need to change that TV cuz its simply not working properly. LOL.

Carefully RESEAT all the connectors on the TV and the Freeview and X-box….then check the picture.
If it’s still bad, then the TV needs to have the Drive board or the video board replaced….
