Why Does A Hair Dryer Make My Lcd Tv Work?
I have an Emerson LCD TV that was part of a water damage at a house. The tv has been dried out and it works...kinda. The picture is fuzzy most of the time, except when I blow hot air from a hair dryer on one of the circuit boards on the back. Then after about 1 minute the picture is crystal clear. Remove the hair dryer and it gradually gets fuzzy again. Why is it doing this?

The hair dryer is making something on the circuit board expand from the heat, thus improving a connection that is poor at room temperature.
